In this Inspiring Women of WCE Spotlight, we’re getting to know Claudia Castillo, a Business Banker with Wells Fargo, and learning more about how she works alongside entrepreneurs to navigate financial decisions, solve challenges, and plan for what’s next. From helping a new business get started to supporting an established business through growth or transition, Claudia believes in building relationships and understanding the person behind the business.
Tell us a little about your role at Wells Fargo and how you help small business owners.
As a Business Banker with Wells Fargo, I have the privilege of working closely with small business owners to help them start, grow, manage, and transition their businesses. My role is focused on understanding each business’s unique goals and challenges, then connecting them with the financial solutions, guidance, and resources they need to succeed. Whether a business is just getting started or looking to expand, I strive to be a trusted advisor and advocate every step of the way.
What banking services and resources do you provide?
I provide a wide range of banking services designed to support small businesses, including business checking and savings accounts, lines of credit, business credit cards, treasury management solutions, merchant services, and lending options for growth and expansion. I work with businesses across a variety of industries, including professional services, retail, healthcare, hospitality, construction, and other locally owned enterprises.
What financial challenges do you help them solve?
Many business owners face challenges such as managing cash flow, accessing capital, planning for growth, navigating economic changes, or improving operational efficiency. I help clients evaluate their options, identify opportunities, and develop financial strategies that support both their immediate needs and long-term objectives.
