WCE gives all women an opportunity to connect with other entrepreneurs and share experiences as well as a way to promote their own businesses. You don’t have to do this entrepreneurial journey alone. WCE was co-founded by Ali Everhard and Melissa Rouswell, serial entrepreneurs who discovered a need for a group that supported women entrepreneurs as they started and developed successful businesses.  The idea for a group began as the two friends were talking about being entrepreneurs and their own personal ups and downs in their journeys.  Melissa’s background is in direct sales where she had support from a corporate office as well as the other consultants in the company who would answer questions, give ideas and listen when things didn’t go as planned, and of course celebrate when things were a huge success.  They realized this was something that Ali as a photographer, graphic designer and artist didn’t have as a solo entrepreneur and really needed at times as she felt more alone in her journey. They started looking and found there were a lot of networking groups but not really any groups just for supporting entrepreneurs, especially those starting out.  So they set about to create a community where women could ask questions, learn ways to improve their business, get advice, collaborate, and stay inspired and passionate about their businesses. The focus of the group is on building relationships with other women entrepreneurs so that we are a strong community of successful women.
