What inspired you to start your business?
I started my business at a moment of intersection: I was doing well in my corporate role, achieving results and supporting leaders successfully — and at the same time, my passion for coaching was getting louder. I was already coaching the leaders around me, using my HR and leadership experience to help them grow, navigate complexity, and lead with more emotional intelligence. But I also felt my patience shrinking with decisions being made above me — decisions that didn’t always align with the kind of culture I believe people deserve. That tension became a turning point. I realized: I don’t have to limit my impact to one organization. I can bring this work to leaders across companies and help them build cultures where people don’t just perform — they belong. So I stepped out and built Sarango Executive Coaching.
What is a favorite product or service you offer—and why?
1:1 Executive Coaching. This is a safe space I can quickly create for my clients to open and become vulnerable, a moment of exploration that they might have never been able to step in. Seeing this unfolding in front of my eyes is magical.
What is one challenge you’ve overcome as a business owner?
Losing money year after year for the first 2.5 years of starting my business. I later learned it was normal, it was part of the process of starting your own business.
What do you love most about the work you do?
Besides my freedom and independence, it is all about contributing to build better cultures, communities, and ultimately a better world.
