What inspired you to start your business?
What inspired me to start Belle Âme Esthetics was pain—and purpose. I walked through a really dark season in my life where I felt completely lost, disconnected from my faith, and honestly, like I didn’t have anything left to give. I thought my family might be better off without me. But God wasn’t done with me. He pulled me out of that pit and reminded me that my story wasn’t over—it was just beginning. I became an esthetician not just because I love skincare (though I do!), but because I know how it feels to be unseen, unheard, and overwhelmed. I wanted to create a space where women—especially those in midlife—could feel safe, seen, and supported. A place where they could come to nourish their skin but leave feeling like they fed their soul. Belle Âme means “beautiful soul,” and that’s what I see in every woman who walks through my doors. My mission isn’t just anti-aging facials or lash lifts—it’s helping women feel confident, cared for, and never alone in what they’re walking through. That’s what inspired me. That’s what still drives me every single day.
What’s a favorite product or service you offer and why?
My favorite service is microchanneling because it delivers real, visible results by stimulating your skin’s natural collagen production. It helps with fine lines, acne scars, pigmentation—you name it. I love that it’s non-invasive but powerful, and it aligns perfectly with my mission to help women in midlife feel confident and radiant in their own skin.
What’s one challenge you’ve overcome as a business owner?
One of the biggest challenges I’ve overcome as a business owner is building confidence in myself—especially when it comes to speaking to strangers and in public. I used to be terrified of putting myself out there, whether it was networking, promoting my business, or even just introducing myself. But I knew that if I wanted to grow, I had to get uncomfortable. God called me to this, and I’ve learned to trust that I have something worth sharing. Now I’m leading meetings, hosting a podcast, and confidently connecting with other women—which still blows my mind some days. Confidence didn’t come easy, but it came with obedience, practice, and grace.
What do you love most about the work you do?
The connections I make with other women and the transformations I see on their skin when they make the commitment to stick to a routine and trust me in the process. It’s really amazing what God is doing in Belle Ame Esthetics.
